Focusrite 2i2 4th Gen issues, I get desktop playing through the mic

I have a bit of an odd one, I recently bought the Focusrite 2i2 4th gen, it works well until I want to hear my Mic Monitor.. Ill set my windows settings to play both output and input through the focusrite (just like I did with my fifine) and suddenly when Inplay anything on my PC I can see see the oudio from that playing through my mic as well..

The result is a messed up echo..

Ive spend the better part of a day looking through tutorials and asking AI and no changes..

Anyone had this issue before?
