Question / Help Floating box using window capture

I'm learning how to use OBS for the first time and I'm working on setting up my scenes. I set up a window capture source to capture minecraft as a test. Everything looked ok except for a this weird "transparent" and "floating" box that was capturing a separate part of the same window. If I move the minecraft window around, the position of the box moves too, but in inverted directions. If I open another window, and drag it around on top some more weirdness happens that shows that the box extends infinitely to the right of the window. I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Iv'e got a picture and a log but I don't know if I got the log correct.
