I have a AverMedia C985 capture card. When I preview a game running on PS4 set to 720p (RGB Range: Full or Limited) or 1080p (RGB Range: Limited), unchanged portions of the screen, like menu images or static backgrounds, will have slight color flickering artifacts or some pixel color will slightly flicker like noise. You can see it by zooming in on the preview with system screen magnification or by taking snapshots and XORing them.
The PS4 set to 1080p with RGB Range Full does not have the flickering. Previewing games on an Xbox 360 at 720p does not have the flickering.
Is this a PS4 issue or is this OBS or DirectShow or bad cables?
I've read posts that say C985 has a color space problem. I'm not sure what that means. The capture card downscales 1080p60 to 1280x800 at 60 or supports 1080p30.
