Fixing OBS won't start after adding an audio source

I managed to solve this by changing the input in pavucontrol or sound settings. I switched my input, then tried starting OBS. If it doesn't work, change input and repeat. OBS finally opened with my webcam as an audio input. Then, make sure to remove the audio input from OBS.
It was a very scary problem, as other reports say it will continue even after purge/reinstalling.
