Fixing audio issues with a .mkv file?

Hello everyone!

So, I messed up my latest recording made with OBS, and I know it was completely my fault. I wanted to monitor the audio from my capture card while I recorded, and I selected "Monitor and output" instead of "Monitor only", and so now, my recording has an echo of the game audio because I recorded that audio twice with apparently very slight delay between the two.

Is there any way to fix that mistake now that the recording is made? I still have the .mkv files, but I messed around with them in OBS without finding out how I could fix the issue. Am I just out of luck?

Thanks in advance!

Probably no fix. If you recorded audio to different audio tracks, it might be some audio is separate on a different track, but since your logfile doesn't contain a recording session, no one can tell. If you didn't record to multiple audio tracks, everything is mixed in one track and cannot be separated.

Yeah, that's what I figured... That's a bummer, but also a lesson learned! Thanks for the reply! :)
