Question / Help [Fixed] OBS not hooking Game Capture while using RTSS

I am so frustrated OBSm cannot reliably hook to Fallout4.exe except maybe once a day. I tried every combination of options and checkboxes. I refuse to use Window Capture because the framerate just tanks.

I took a day to figure it out, but it appears OBSm cannot hook properly when RivaTuner Statistics Server is hooking to the game as well. It's a tool to display a framerate counter as well as capping the framerate (Fallout 4 requires this.)

I use DXTory to cap the framerate on FO4, all I know is apps like these don't get along with OBS' Game Capture. Window/Monitor capture may get around this, at the cost of performance.

That's odd. o.O I've been using RTSS to cap the frame rate and recording with OBS without too much hassle.

1. Add OBS-MP to the list in RTSS - Set the detection level to "none"
2. Run OBS-MP as an administrator.
3. Disable Nvidia ShadowPlay/Share (Maybe even stop the services as well)

Something in this list made it work and hook with game capture, but I'm not sure which it was.

I've always had a Global profile in RTSS set to Detection: None, but I guess that wasn't enough.
I added profiles for OBSm 32bit and 64bit, set both to None and now it works.

Thanks for the help.
