Hello everyone.

So last 2 weeks I had problems, stream just stopped streaming like no internet, NDI Source stopped, sometimes webcam also stopped for a bit and after maybee 30 seconds all good back. So I removed OBS Studio, Streamelements LIVE plugin, NDI plugin. I removed residues in appdata, etc., restarted PC, reinstalled back all three, restart PC and open, configure from scratch just to test NDI signal from gaming laptop and I saw, that OBS is using only about 30MB/s (Task manager) on laptop. Tried sending from PC to Laptop, all good smooth and above 100MB/s. Installed XSplit on laptop for test only for NDI, it works like a charm to PC (arround 140MB/s). So I did same reinstall process as on PC before, again same. Tried without NVENC, no joy. When it is only green color as background in scene on OBS laptop, it uses about 6MB/s of network, with game arround 30MB/s.

So in few words... before reinstalling on PC, NDI from OBS laptop to PC was in normall range of 140MB/s, while after reinstall on PC, only arround 30MB/s no matter what I do.

Laptop LOG: https://obsproject.com/logs/jyX5qe7Q2ruHFeuL

Laptop: Windows 10 x64, OBS Studio 23.2.1 (64-bit), Laptop ASUS ROG G752VL, Graphic Nvidia gtx 965M, ...

Without a streaming session OBS does not write performance data to a logfile, so all it shows is the app starting and shutting down. I can see you have NDI installed, and that a source starts, but that's all.

Beyond that you've got an extremely large number of scenes and sources, including browser sources, that make the logfile difficult to read and hard to narrow down the potential sources of problems. It may be useful to create a fresh, blank profile and scene collection troubleshoot with a single active capture source. This might resolve your issue, but even if it doesnt, it will result in cleaner logs that are easier to troubleshoot with.

Okay, I will remove everything and install only OBS and NDI on both computers, on blank profiles I will use only window capture on laptop and on PC NDI Source. As soon I have this, I will post it here. Thanks

Okay I figured out, when it started lagging. Today I restored Windows partition from few months ago, NDI works great, I upgraded Windows 10 to version 1903 and bam, again laggy NDI. So something from the update is messing with it, but what?

UPDATE: On same laptop, from OBS to Xsplit (for test) it worked normally, and when sending out is not good, what the hell is limiting the speed?
UPDATE2: OBS ndi from laptop to XSplit on desktop PC works like a charm, so OBS to OBS is not working for some reason.

I have been using OBS NDI plugin to send video from laptop to desktop computer. It was working great until it didn't. Sudently after upgrading NDI OBS plugin, Video and audio became laggy a lot (sending 1920x1080p, 60FPS at only arround 30Mb/s instead previously 140Mb/s).

What I have tried and still laggy:
- NDI Scan Converter from laptop to desktop PC with OBS Studio
- OBS Studio from laptop to desktop PC with OBS Studio
- I went over your documentation with what to do and I already did that.
- Disabled all power saving and green setting arround network
- Tried with another USB 3.0 Gigabyte network card and even over WiFi 5G
- Replaced network cables and even network gigabyte switch
- Several different versions of OBS Studio and OBS NDI plugin (always fresh install)
- (probably even more but I do not remember...)

What I have tried and working normally:
- NDI Scan Converter to OBS Studio LOCALY on same laptop
- NDI Scan Converter to XSplit LOCALY on same laptop and to desktop PC
- OBS Studio on laptop to XSplit on desktop PC
- OBS Studio on desktop PC to OBS Studio on laptop and another laptop
- XSplit on laptop to XSplit on desktop PC
- Android NDI app from smartphone to OBS Studio on desktop PC and laptop
- (probably even more but I do not remember...)

So it looks like, it is not working from the laptop with OBS studio+OBS NDI plugin and NDI tools (from your website) to any computer with OBS studio+NDI plugin!

Laptop is ASUS ROG G752VL on Windows 10 x64 version 1903.
Desktop PC on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
Second laptop regular i5 laptop, 4GB ram on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
Android phone Huawei P20 Lite

SOLUTION by going to earlier version (do the same on both computers):
1) Uninstall previous OBS NDI plugin and restart computer.
2) Install OBS NDI plugin version 4.6.2 and after completed installation install NDI 3.8 Runtime. After finished installing restart PC.
3) Enjoy =)
