Question / Help [FIXED] Multiple RTMP Media Sources, Same Scene, Can I Mute Mixer Sources Per Scene?!

Hi OBS Gurus,

I have:
  • Gaming PC
  • Gaming Laptop
  • Streaming Server
At the moment, I have OBS/Overlays/Alerts on the Streaming machine. I then have a copy of OBS on my gaming machine that RTMP's to the Streaming Machine and I add that to the Scene via Media Source, No Issues!
Last night I put OBS on my Gaming laptop and did the same, RTMP'ing to the streaming machine and added a second Media Source for that, No problems and I'm getting a feed/sound from both machines.
Here is the issue!
I have a large box and small box as my overlay and I have the capability to switch scene, so they take turns being the larger window. However, if both Media Sources are on the same scene and you mute one of them in the mixer list, when it switches back to the other scene, the source remains muted as a global mute.
I read posts regarding adding the audio as a source, but you do not seem able to add an audio source from a media source over network in that way.
As a go between I've forgotten the smaller box now and just use one Media source per scene, but I would like to have the other media source in the smaller window still visible, but muted.

Here is the latest recording, which might give you a better idea:

The scene switches media sources every 60 seconds.

Hope that makes sense, please help if possible!

I sorted this!
Be sure to add the same mediasource inputs against to the scene you want be call them different names.
You can then mute independently per scene!
If you add them as a dupe in either method, it will mute both scenes the media source is in.
Add media sources separately!
