First time on Linux - nothing is available!

I assumed everything would essentially look the same as windows version but I am having some significant issues.

1. I cannot get game capture - this is to prevent any sensitive information being shown on screen with window capture
2. There are no Stream Information or chat docks

Hi, depending on your OS, some OBS features aren't directly available.
The only installations OBS actually supports is via a ppa repository on Ubuntu and as a flatpack.

Depending on your desktop enviroment (KDE for example) certain features like game capture are "builtin-in"

Personally i haven't found a solution for the streaming docks yet, but i'm pretty sure some are available in the OBS plugin store

So if i were to suggest something:
- look at your OS wiki for more information about OBS on your system
