Hello - I am looking to import home movies from a MiniDV via firewire using OBS. I have all the proper hardware adapters to connect my MacBook pro to the camcorder and I am able to add the camcorder as a video source in OBS. Video seems to capture just fine. My issue is getting the audio stream to be recognized in OBS. Using iMovie, I am able to capture both video and audio just fine so I know the HW is working. Are there any tips on how to add a firewire camcorder source as an audio source in OBS? I will fall back on using iMovie, but I want to explore OBS from some of the customizable capture and encoding options. Thanks in advance for the help....
BTW - I did see a previous post around having to using a third party app like IShowU and I tried that but it was clunky and did not eventually work.
