OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

I have followed the steps from YouTube video tutorials, and the results are the same, even after I delete and rebuild the source.

I think the the system is wrongly configured for capturing or you have a faulty device.

As for the system. Laptops usually has very specific hardware, so maybe sound driver issue or incompatibility with the resent updates of the Windows. Or maybe your PC doesn't support certain sample rates for audio.

Hi, I am trying to digitize my old VHS tapes using the Grabster AV350. The video quality is very good, but OBS does not record any sound. When I use the same hardware on another software, I do get sound, but the video quality is very poor. Does anyone know how to fix this in OBS?
