Question / Help File Output Only Problems - Resolved

I just want to apologize in advance in case I'm posting this in the wrong forum, I'm really bad with this kind of thing,

I'm trying to record some game footage, but I don't want to livestream, only record. So I set it to File Output Only, but I can't record because I don't know how to set a path or whatever it's called. I've looked elsewhere for solutions, but never got any help, so if someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong or tell me what to do that'd be great.

Go to Settings > Broadcast settings and click the Browse button next to the file path box. Browse to the location you want to save your recordings at. Enter % for the file name and click Save. OBS will now save your video files at this location and name them based on the date and time.

javontae - Make absolutely sure that the path you have entered is a valid path.
