Question / Help File output issues

So my upload speed is aweful im working on changing my isp and in the mean time I would like to use obs with movie maker and make some videos for youtube. My issue is the quality is aweful I've been looking for solutions but I havent been able to find anything.

My specs

Processor - i7-3820 CPU @3.60 Ghz
video card GTX 690
32GB ram

Does upload speed effect file output quality ? or is there something im missing.

I recommend R1CH's guide for local recordings. Make sure you are using the newest stable/test build as well. Upload only effects quality if you are streaming, if you are doing a local recording it will not matter at all. Of course the larger the file is the longer it will take to upload to youtube.
