Hi,
I have recently switched to PC and I am having some trouble streaming and recording Fifa. I like to get some advice if possible. I not too tech savvy, but the switch to PC has been a steep learning curve for me!
I have some video samples, and also samples of COD Warzone for comparison. Even though Warzone is far more resource intensive, I have far better results.
My setup is as follows:
PC
OBS
Stream Settings for YouTube (cant get it to run smooth Twitch)
Recording Settings
I have linked 4 samples below. 1 stream and 1 record of both Fifa, and COD for comparison.
Stream Test 1 - Fifa
Stream Test 2 - Warzone
Record Test 1 - Fifa
Record Test 2 - Warzone
COD Warzone
I think the quality of both the COD Warzone clips is acceptable, and it took me a long time to find setting that allowed the record and stream to appear smooth. I move the mouse quickly when the plane is flying at the start to check for smoothness. I'm not looking a critique on my new keyboard and mouse "skills", just a confirmation that the COD Warzone clips are of good quality.
Fifa
I think it's called micro-stutter. This game does not stress out my GPU at all but the stuttering is awful. Especially when the ball travels long and fast. I have tried all the setting s in Fifa including adjusting the FPS. Can't understand why it is so choppy.
I do not have log files but I am happy to create some under the same conditions in the clips as I have not changed any settings. It took me long enough to get smooth COD recordings so have satisfied myself with that for now.
So, just to sum up...
Apologies for the long post and thanks in advance!

- RTX 3070
- i7 10th Gen
- 16g RAM
OBS
- Always opened as administrator
- Game capture (I seem to get better results with this and Display capture maxxes out the GPU on COD)

- Are both COD stream and record samples of acceptable quality?
- Could this be improved?
- Any suggestions on how I can Fix the Fifa micro-stutter?
- Is it safe to assume that streaming and recording COD is out of the question with my setup? I have encoder overload when I try this and it is unwatchable. This is not essential to me anyway.
- Suggestions for Twitch stream settings. It was unwatchable with the settings shown above and with "Ignore streaming service setting recommendations" both ticked and unticked.
- Any other suggestions?
Apologies for the long post and thanks in advance!
