Hello,

What is the best way to configure OBS MP, to use a custom QuickSync En/De-coder? (i.e. FFMPEG, FFDShow, DXVA, LAV Filters, libav, etc)

For example:
  1. how to enable: ffmpeg -hwaccel DXVA, (Windows Only)
  2. Or ffdshow ....
  3. Or libav ...
Use Cases:
  1. Capturing Skype Video Calls
  2. Screen Capturing w/Tutorials and a WebCam/Chroma shot.
  3. For Game Capture, I just disable my internal video card.
  4. Saving Locally, and then Uploading to YouTube, etc.
  5. Would be awesome if this could be used to stream, as well.
Desktop Recording / Black Screen Issues, not a Problem:

Keeping the Intel GPU, (iGPU) QuickSync features is ideal for what I am doing.

Disabling my Integrated Video card resolves issues capturing games, with the "Black Screen".

With OBS MP, I have no problems capturing my laptop monitor.

System:
  1. OBS MP .12, and (.656b, desktop capture doesn't work).
  2. Windows 10, laptop
  3. FFMPEG, FFDSHOW, and DXVA.
  4. QuickSync Decoder -- Awesome, btw: http://sourceforge.net/projects/qsdecoder
  5. LAV Filters - https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters
  6. Integrated Intel - With QuickSync enabled, (iGPU).
  7. NVidia 840M, (which doesn't have NVENC, (ShadowPlay).
Also:
  1. Is there a Compatibility Mode Option, (or alternate mechanism), for Intel QuickSync to be used to capture games/apps running on the nVidia GPU?
