Question / Help Few questions about streaming

http://pastebin.com/p0zyXuEC - my logs

Few questions and I'd also like to add the fact that I am a complete streaming noob so I'm not sure if this is actually an issue or something normal

First, do my logs look okay?

Second, is it normal to have BOTH higher ping and ping spikage? For example, I ping consistent in the 50's for Texas servers but while streaming it would usually stay around in the 60's but time to time spike up to high 70's.

Lastly, does your mouse movement get affected at all while streaming?

Thank you!

Mouse movement typically should not be affected by streaming. Your logs look fine. Getting higher ping in your game while streaming is normal. However, "minimize network impact" should reduce that if you have that happen.

So I'm taking a stab at streaming again after being frustrated. I fixed the mouse problem, but I'm still getting pretty bad lag issues. My ping still spikes constantly from anywhere between my "normal" ping to over a 100 ping.

This is my most recent log.

Thanks!

If you're getting high ping, that means your stream and the game are competing too much for your internet connection. First try enabling "Minimize Network Impact" in Broadcast Settings, and if that still doesn't help, try lowering the bit rate that you are streaming at.

I've tried enabling that option and lowering my bitrate as low as 500 but still get the same high ping issue. By any chance could it be because I have a router set up? I'm wired to the router myself, but I'm wondering if just having a router itself would cause issues. I've also tried changing my in-game resolution to something smaller, but still no luck.

Any other suggestions?

Also my tested upload speed is about 10 Mbps and I've also tried the 'shaping' test with no 'shaping' results.

If Minimize Network Impact didn't help, then you'll just have to lower bit rate until it starts working. You can try enabling Quality of Service settings in your router to see if that will help.
