Would it be possible to include a webcam and mic auto-synchronization feature in OBS, to simplify setup and take the guesswork out of getting a good delay roughed-in?
Idea would be to flash the Preview screen a given color, and output a tone in sync. Just set the mic down near the speaker, and move the webcam to point at the preview window (or hold up a pocket mirror for those on laptops with built-in cams), and have OBS work out the delay.
Wouldn't be perfect if there was drift, and wouldn't compensate for audio card delay (unless that was handled as a separate calibration first) but would prevent having to stop and restart a stream over and over to see if it's OK or needs to be tweaked a little more.
