[Feature request] Video Source (not device)

i'd be nice if we could add custom videos to the stream - for examaple for animations.

I've been trying to get in contact with a guy who already made his own video plugin but haven't got a response yet

any update on this subject? i'm very interested in video play-out that allows also alpha channel support.

The closest thing you can get to this is with the Browser source plugin which allows you to essentially load a flash player into OBS and play videos through that if it is set up properly. If you aren't able to use that, then the FFMpeg Input Plugin is the next best thing so far.
