[Feature Request] Paste images in clipboard directly into OBS Scene

I have scoured the forums and was not able to find a mention of this anywhere, but something which could streamline one very common task during livestreaming would be the ability to ctrl+v an image copied onto the clipboard directly into the source list, perhaps with a dialogue showing a preview and a checkbox for whether or not you want it to paste active or disabled.

Love your software, thank you so much for all the work you do!

At some point, that clipboard image will have to be a file, at the very least when OBS closes and needs to remember for the next session. So you're just asking to automate creating that file?

I didn't think it was all that hard to open an image editor, paste in there, save it, and then load that in OBS. But I guess if you're already live, then every second counts.

I'd find this useful too. My (slightly odd) use case is that I use OBS for my guitar practise, and I want to grab each line of music separately into OBS so that I can remove the wasted whitespace and then get the music nice and big for my practise.

It's not hard by any means to do this, but any time I can remove multiple steps and mouse clicks from a process is time saved, and although every second counts whilst actually streaming, I'd go further and say every second counts in general.

As far as temporary file handling in this specific use-case, OBS could just delete temp files on close or give you the option to clear it manually if you didn't want that extra load during an attempt to close the program. But copying images onto the clipboard/pasting them into web browsers, messaging programs, etc, is becoming more and more common as a feature.

There is https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/scrab.845/ it is not a complete substitute for your feature idea, but it can copy rectangle area from your screen and add that to OBS Studio source list.
