I always thought this would be a really cool feature to have with broadcasting software, so I figured I would suggest it. The actual implementation would be as easy as having a video as a source (which is already on the high priority list), have start/stop keys, and an instant replay button.
That's actually what I used to do with Xsplit for a while. I'd start a recording, then stop it. The stop button would also trigger a script I wrote to copy the recorded file to another location and rename it (the name being the same each time). I would have a scene set up to call to that replay filename and boom, instant replay.
It was a very roundabout way of doing it, as Xsplit also didn't have instant replay, so I'm hoping that you may consider it. :D
