Question / Help Failed to start streaming/recording

Whenever I currently try to stream or record anything, I get the following:

Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details.

Note: If you are using the NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date.

I updated my GPU drivers yesterday:

I've attached my log file, hope I did it right.

Only thing I'm running atm is Ark, no VR application is open as far as I can see either.

I use ShadowPlay Instant Reply so I just tried disabling GeForce overlay and I'm still getting the error.

Does disabling the overlay also turn off instant replay? Because as far as I know, what that's doing is recording using NVENC.

I disabled both, and I wasn't recording, just using instant replay; I've never had issues with OBS before and it was enabled.

Instant replay is recording. It's constantly recording, that's how it works.

But if it's not that, either you need to update your driver, or something else is using an NVENC session, or you've configured the encoder for an option your card can't support. (Not saying you have, just saying that's theoretically possible.)
