Question / Help Failed to start recording

I am getting this error when I try to start a recording:

Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details.

Note: If you are using the NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date.

My video drivers are up to date and the issue is still happening. This error happened once before and I found that uninstalling and reinstalling worked, but I don't want to keep on doing that every time this error pops up.

It worked for one recording, but then I tried to record another one after that and now it's not working again.

Edit: By the way, this all started happening after I installed my new graphics card.

did you have amd card before? log shows AMF amd encoder is being recognized with no amd card now. looks like driver/software mess in windows?
run DDU again for amd?
