Failed to start recording

I'm getting a popup saying "starting the output failed. Please check log for details. Note: If you are using NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date." I already made sure all drivers are up to date and tried other things from other forums but I can't figure out the problem. I've been able to record just fine in the past and I changed nothing so I have no clue what happened. The only change is that I updated OBS.

Update your intel igpu drivers using the intel update assistant. do NOT rely on windows update/device manager for updates.
