Hey,

I've been trying to set up OBS studio for about an hour and a half,
and i keep getting the following error:

1565583401543.png

I'm not a "bitrate this" or "encoder that" person, so i don't really know what the Note means.
I have installed a different encoder before, but i removed it using Windows Environment Variables.

Here's the log file:

Here's my OBS setup:
2 Scenes, each with a color source and a display capture
Stinger Transition,
No settings changed other than "Transition to scene when double-clicked" in the Studio Mode paragraph

I'm using a Toshiba Satellite Laptop running Microsoft Windows 10 Home (10.0.17134) , OBS is installed to an external hard drive.

Any help is appreciated. :)

This note means that you've chosen to have OBS try and use the NVENC encoder, which uses the hardware on your Nvidia GPU, but this line in the log indicates that your Nvidia drivers are not up to date:

14:05:33.340: [jim-nvenc] Current driver version does not support this NVENC version, please upgrade your driver

14:05:27.516: Windows Version: 10.0 Build 17134 (revision: 885; 64-bit)

Windows is also quite out of date and should be updated, manually if necessary.
