Failed to start recording - NVENC Error: init_encoder: nvEncGetEncodePresetConfig failed: 15 (NV_ENC_ERR_INVALID_VERSION)

I am on the most recent version of OBS (25.0.8) and I cannot record anything. When I try to, I get the error message above.

I've read other threads and tried their advice (e.g. updating drivers) but to no avail. Please help.

My log shows "Driver Version: 25.21.14.2531" and GeForce Experience shows my version as "425.31"
Your log shows "Driver Version: 23.21.13.8873". Update your drivers.

Thank you. I tried updating it initially by using Windows' Driver Settings, which did not work, but after downloading the NVIDIA GeForce Experience application and updating my driver from there (which hasn't been updated in like 2 years lol) I was able to get OBS to record again.

I dont know what happened, I have been updated ge force expierence but since I have windows 11 I have not updated because it didnt asked me, so I need to download manually?
