"Failed to open NVENC codec: Function not implemented" whenever trying to record or stream

Hello. I installed OBS 29.0.0 today (64-bit, windows) and am getting this error everytime I try to record or stream.

My video card is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

I checked for updates in device manager and windows said the best drivers for my video card were already installed. Just to double check though, I downloaded the latest driver for it directly off of nvidia's website, installed it, restarted my PC, and I'm still getting this error.

I tried changing my Output settings in OBS to change the Encoder from Hardware (NVENC, H, 264) to Software (x264) and I'm getting the same error either way.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do to fix this?

My apologies, I actually figured it out shortly after posting this, so please disregard the thread.

The driver I *thought* was the most recent driver actually wasnt. Once I got the correct driver it worked like a charm.
