Question / Help Failed to connect to server

So the first time I used OBS and streamed, everything worked perfectly fine. Second day and so on, I continue to try to use it and I get "failed to connect to server" every time. I've tried resetting comp, resetting stream key, changing servers, running twitch test, all to no avail. Anyone know why it's not working?

*Use 64bit version of OBS instead of 32bit*

In advanced settings try changing "Bind to IP" under network to "Default"

I have the same problem here. I cant connect to facebook. It says, "Failed to connect to server"

Bind to IP should only be on default. Changing it is only necessary on complicated network setups with multiple network paths.

Mine will stream for a random time 20-90 min then drops. Then must restart computer entirely to reconnect with obs. Web pages load fine without restart but obs won't stream

I am in Canada and trying to join a live stream in China. My computer is able to Ping the server no problem, but OBS says failed to connect. I've gone through everything above and nothing seems to be working. Any help on this?

For me the fix was going to my firewall settings in windows and setting the outbound rule for obs.exe to connect. Basically the firewall was blocking its outbound connection and I had to create a rule in the firewall settings to let it connect.
