1. There's no direct overlay possibilities in OBS. You can add same layer (source) to all scenes and attach shortcut to toggle the source visibility, but for viewers pleasure it could be nice to have a possibility to show layer (source) not from cut, but from fade in - and hide with fade out.
2. Also, to have option to show source with delay - not delay the source itself (ie. delayed video), but to show the layer "n" milliseconds from shortcut pressing/clicking the eye icon. It could be handy in cases, when you got video file with lower third background (which starts immediately after shortcut) and after 500ms the letters (from text layer) comes in, raised by the same shortcut as background layer.
3. Text layer animations (even common ones like fade in, typewriter etc.) could also be very handy :)
4. Last one: when using browser source layer, it's hard to open its properties and reload. It'll be easier from shortcut.
