Question / Help FaceCam Configuration Reset Every Time on Recording / Preview

Title basically the problem,

I use logitech webcam c930e and change a bunch of stuff in the configurations, but I have to redo it for every time I start to record or try to do a preview. Doing a preview even after fixing it in the recording and clicking stop resets it, and the same the other way around.

Anyone know what's a good fix?

try setting it as a global source. but I will say, I had a lot of trouble with my old webcam getting the setting to stay. best bet is to configure it outside of OBS then start OBS with those settings already there.
