Question / Help Facecam Changes resolution when recording

I’m trying to record a gameplay video of Rage 2 with my face cam in the corner. After I crop my webcam picture, I’ll hit the record button but then my webcam will change its resolution/field of view. I’m only trying to capture my face but OBS resizes the field of view to include the background of my room as well which makes my face look smaller. I do need to mention that I’m running Rage 2 in windowed mode since game capture doesn’t work with this game for some reason. Any ideas?

EDIT : It seems that switching from my OBS window to my Game window is whats causing the resizing issue. During a test recording, I noticed the face cam resolution/field of view was fine when I had my OBS window pulled up but when I switched to the Rage 2 window to play the game, the face cam resized.

Logitech Webcams are mostly bull... because Logitech they wont fix drivers
they have issues like not saving settings <-- has nothing to do with OBS

I have the same problem. my fix was to install the Logitech Game Hub and the Logitech Gaming Software.
I disable the Gaming Software in Auto Start and do some settings in the Game Hub.
In the settings i set Desktop as the Permanent Profile.
Then i make some setting for the Picture and close the lock over the Webcam Settings.
Game Hub has to start with windwows.
For a better Image i use filters in OBS.

For my problem i has to install both Logitech Software. Thats the only way it works for me.
Before i did this, all my settings where reseted when i start my computer or start OBS.

Maybe you have to look, what OBS did with your settings in the Game Hub. I use the OBS Filter for my finish Quality of the Webcam.
I wrote down the changes in game Hub and use them in the permanet profile.

I hope my tip was usefull.
