you have not posted anywhere close to enough information for anyone to advise... unfortunately... maybe that is why no responses.
That and you ignored the pinned post in the support forum about OBS Studio log to include when asking for help/support

so if still a question
- is behavior same on Mac and PC versions of OBS Studio? are you using same version of OBS Studio on both systems?
- Personally, I tend to avoid the simplistic approaches that more easily glitch, often without warning. In 5+ years of using OBS Studio, I've never used OBS Studio's 'Live' option... but that was due to using Facebooks /live/producer to monitor event, and not using a Persistent Stream key for security reasons, Facebook's Scheduled video events due to common URL across events, etc.
There are LOTS of details, all of which are your responsibility to understand and manage (nature of using free tools... )
