Question / Help Facebook Live "Waiting for live video"

I have been unable to connect to Facebook Live since Saturday afternoon. Prior to today, I was getting the error about not being able to connect to any servers. Now, I can get past that but Facebook Live just sits with the message "Waiting for live video" and the "go live" button greyed out.

I am using the Auto-Configuration Wizard to attempt to set up the live feed.

Here is my log from this session: https://obsproject.com/logs/77x-rlGKcy2eArKc

Any help is appreciated.

I have same issue but i am still stuck on the pop up

'Failed to connect to server'

I cant get passed this bit. I missed a scheduled facebook live last night because it would not work.

Does anyone from OBS actually help in the group?

Yes, they do monitor it and I have received suggestions from them - although not always. Still, for free software I don't know how impatient one should be.
What I found that may or may not be helpful but here it is:
In the Auto Wizard where the Streaming Key is shown as a line of dots, I right-clicked on it and chose "select all" and deleted it to clear the box before pasting in the new Streming Key from Facebook. I don't know how much difference it made or why but I was able to get past the "failed to connect to any server" error.
Hope it helps.

I would be happy to pay for service if it worked. Just uploaded again and tried a new stream key today and still getting this message.

I had to upgrade my Internet connection to get around this before, and last week it worked great. But today I started testing for my show this coming Wednesday and it is failing the same way. The difference is that now I have 5mb upload, last time I saw this problem I only had 2mb upload. I am quite distressed.

hello. i tried what you suggested. right clicking, select all, delete the entire box, copy pasted in new stream key. but same result... waiting for live video box and go live button grayed out. could it be that installing streamelements' what's causing this problem? my obs to facebook connection worked last week. im not sure though if i already downloaded streamline before that.

hi, guys. i've going through the same problem since this morning. finally i was able to find a solution but i dont know if it will work with you, guys, too. instead of grabbing a stream key from the obs settings, i went straight to my facebook account, click live video, and from there i found the same page for the stream key. i copied the stream key straight from facebook, went back to obs, pasted it in, and now im connected.

Has anyone found the solution to the error message below? Our church has streamed to Facebook live for several months with no issues. One Sunday morning, we received this message and I cannot get around it. I have deleted the old and pasted new stream key at least 100 times with no success. I really need help with this issue as we have not been able to stream our service the past 3 weeks.
