facebook live stuck on "waiting for live video."

I have been using fb live to broadcast church services since april. Last sunday, the screen on facebook that normally shows the video from obs, after I have started streaming but before we go live, was stuck on, "waiting for live video." The stream key is correct. We have tried restarting everything but we cannot seem to get facebook to recognize the obs studio stream. Obs doesn't give us an error that we have the wrong stream key, which it does if the key is wrong. I am unsure if some setting changed. I am hoping for any help or ideas.

I have just started having this same issue... I still show up on FB.. But OBS is having problem streaming video... This just started.. I always had Simple setting on Mac high Sierra 30fps

hi, guys. i've going through the same problem since this morning. finally i was able to find a solution but i dont know if it will work with you, guys, too. instead of grabbing a stream key from the obs settings, i went straight to my facebook account, click live video, and from there i found the same page for the stream key. i copied the stream key straight from facebook, went back to obs, pasted it in, and now im connected.
