Question / Help Facebook live published on timeline instead of in group

I did a first test w OBS today to stream to FB Live. Felt pretty straightforward - I did this test (twice) in a closed group on FB that I use for testing. The recording never showed up though - not until a friend pointed out that I'd been broadcasting publicly on my timeline. And I don't know what I missed - have done broadcasts in groups on several occasions, although not with streaming keys. What's the trick to make sure the stream goes to the right place?

This would be something entirely on Facebook's end, OBS has no control over where your stream is published by Facebook.

Hi, yes, I'm aware of that, and since this happened in conjunction with streaming from OBS, I'm interested in any knowledge around this from others.

as admin said it is offtopic, but if live producer is set to "share in a group", maybe there could be problem with setup of your FB group you are broadcasting into, check if it is really closed.
