Question / Help Facebook Live ends before the entire stream is published

Hi everyone,

I've been playing around with using OBS Studio 64 bit on Windows 10 (also 64 bit), and have successfully streamed to YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch. Whenever I use "Stop Streaming" inside of OBS, YouTube and Twich work as you would expect - that is, if the live feed is slightly behind but has feed remaining to be sent to the website, it will continue to send the content up until the timestamp where I've clicked "Stop Streaming".

However, with Facebook, if I press "Stop Streaming" in OBS or "End Stream" on the FB website, it stops the feed immediately. This sometimes cuts it short by a few minutes, meaning I haven't successfully signed off or finished the show.

Has anyone else experienced this, and do you have a workaround or solution?

on a new version 23.2.1. and have the same problem. my fb stream stops when it stops in obs. it's not fully streamed.

have you foud the solution to this?

I also have this issue...so what I usually do is play another video that serves as an ending video...to make sure there is a gap for the ending time and the Facebook website to end it.
But sometimes I forget it and click on End Facebook Live on Facebook and then just now my video is cut a little 2 minutes before the end...so it's really kind of disappointing.
