I have read dozens of threads about this topic over that last week. It is beginning to frustrate me greatly.
When I start my stream (with elgato to XB360, buffering checked on it to "0" and cam and mic at 1450ms) everything is perfectly synced. However, through about 20 minutes, my mic and camera drastically lose sync with each other. The gameplay and game sound are perfect so I don''t see this as an issue with Elgato, but with OBS. There has to be an error that offsets the mic and camera.
If I put my sound through my camera properties I lose quality, so I don't want to do that if possible. I have no problems when I stream from my PC.
ALSO I had issues with my mic disconnecting repeatedly the other night. So I was constantly plugging my mic in and out to get it to work again. When I unplugged and replugged my headset, it reset the desync every time–further leading me to believe it is not an elgato issue, but in OBS itself.
P.S. I LOVE OBS and just want to make it better. Any help from Jim would be amazing as I know he has looked into this repeatedly. I have a test stream we could use to pinpoint if needed.
