F2 Rename Sources and Scenes

This should be an easy Interface one. There is no F2 shortcut to rename objects such as Sources and Scenes. A little one I know but it keeps bothering me from time to time.

This is actually less easy than one might initially think, because while F2 is pretty common in Windows, the Mac rename shortcut key is "Enter". It might be difficult to apply OS-specific rename hotkeys to everything correctly.
