Hi,
I have a streaming hardware from Extron, SMP 351. This product has a rudimentary control interface for production of live streams. I would like to use OBS to produce me live feed and need to understand how I best get the video, sound as well as the capture of what is being displayd on the screen in the classroom fed into OBS. We have the microphones in the room connected to the SMP 351 unit and we can have 2 video feeds simultaneously into the SMP 351. Usually one feed is the presenters screen. This means that if the presenter is using powerpoint or playing a film on his PC then that can be directy fed to the live stream. I can do PiP and side by side but switching between the different preconfigured formats is slow and not that flexible. Ergo the reason to look at OBS to be able to do a more professional production.
So if someone has used OSB wit hthe Extron SMP 351 then I would very much lget some insights into how to best do this.
