Bug Report Extremely high RAM usage with GIF

I have a GIF file set as my background - it weighs around 1.6MB, but when put into OBS the RAM usage jumps from ~60MB to 2GB. However, another GIF that I have set as the background for another scene does not use this much RAM.

I fixed it by converting the GIF to an MP4, but this issue should not appear in the first place.

What is the other GIF that does not use as much RAM? We cannot make a valid comparison without seeing both images.
