Question / Help Extremely choppy recording with full screen LoL

For some reason my recordings/streams are extremely choppy when I have League running in full screen. I know that a lot of people have trouble streaming League in full screen but it was something that I was able to do on an old laptop with no problems. I've used the same settings for both League and OBS on both computers yet my newer, much more powerful computer produces a much choppier recording.

I really have no idea, any solutions?

I also have a sample of what the recording looks like on both computers, if that would be helpful in any way. For some reason it wouldn't let me attach those files though.

It says you're using monitor capture. Monitor capture is generally not recommended for capturing. Ideally you want to use game-capture on the in-game, and another capture method on the lobby. You can do it in a single scene, but two scenes generally tends to be more optimal.

Yes I am using monitor capture. But I originally used monitor capture on my laptop as well and had no problems.

monitor capture shouldnt even really work if you are running the game in any other mode than borderless windowed mode or window mode

also if you are recording you want to make sure that you are using game capture

I understand that game capture is the recommended settings to stream for League but as you can see from the log files, monitor capture does indeed work perfectly fine on my laptop.

I would like to find out the specific reason as to why I cannot replicate the same results on my desktop despite running the exact cfg and ini files from League and nearly identical settings on OBS. Perhaps something a mod for OBS that I forgot about? There has to be a reason.
