Question / Help ExtremeCap U3 troubles audio and color issues

So I am also getting the constant popping sound (in OBS and RECentral) When I use the U3 which was not fixed by either updating to the latest firmware or turning on wave out option in OBS which were the two solutions I found on the forum, so hopefully there is another.


More importantly though, again in OBS and RECentral, is that my colors all look horrible and washed out and nothing like they should! When I used the U3 through HDMI with my Wii U it works fine so its only through components, or a ps3/U3 trouble.


I tried turning wave out audio renderer both on and off but neither fixed the problem constant static/popping sounds and as for the colors, I fiddled here and there but don't really know what I'm doing so I haven't found a solution.

Tried through HDMI, no color trouble or sound problem, but there is HDCP D:

If there are any fixes I would love to know so I can fix this before I just end up going through the pain of returning it.



On the topic of returning it though, any suggestions for something (external only) that will capture PS3 and Wii U with relative ease of set up like the U3?
