Question / Help External or ExpressCard/34 Capture Suggestions?

I'm hoping I can use either my touch allNone or laptop to capture/stream video for twitch. Like an idiot I didn't do my research and got a roxioHDpro *Facepalm*... So yeah, can only seem to find list or two of capture cards that don't work with obs and not a list of cards that do. Any recommendations for one either external or Expresscard/34 capture device?

Do you have USB 3.0 ports on your laptop? If you do I highly recommend getting one of the new USB 3.0 devices.

Nope, 2.0 unfortunantly. Got this laptop 2010/2011. Only computer I have with USB3 is my gaming rig :(

Aw. Well elgato and avermedia LGP are the two USB 2.0 devices that currently work with OBS. Not sure of what ExpressCard/34 is though.

Expresscard is an expansion port for a laptop. Adds USB's SoundCards, Ethernet Ports, or in my case, HDMI capture(Found two but those are too big for my laptop. The /34 part is the size format for the expresscard.

Pretty much looks like I'll have to wait awhile to drag out my savings for a more expensive capture card then. Thanks.
