Question / Help External capture device?

I am looking for a device that is capable of taking an hdmi/dvi/displayport input and outputting a video stream to OBS via a usb 3.0 connection. One computer ( a desktop) will be displaying the content that will be streamed, and another computer (a powerful enough laptop) will be taking that video in through the usb 3.0 port via some sort of a capture card. Does anyone know of a device that can do this?

Do either of those devices support an output as well? According to the extremecap u3, the user would be viewing the input on the computer the device is connected to, with no way to have the source video connected to another monitor. As I will be viewing the content on my desktop and streaming the content to my laptop, I would need a way to display the content on my main desktop monitor. Is there a way to do this with those devices? Or would I have to connect my laptop do my desktop monitor, and view the streamed content in a preview window?

Interesting. The XCAPTURE-1 seems a little out of my price range, but I'm trying to think of ways to get both outputs from the ExtremeCap U3. Perhaps an hdmi splitter would do the job. Either way, thanks for the info on devices that can do this and work with OBS.
