I've recently been toying around hotkeys and somehow discovered you can assign any gamepad button as hotkey. I was trying to find a way to start/stop streams/recordings in a way that leaves most of the keyboard keys free or don't get overlaped with another application's hotkeys, so the gamepad way comes handy as hell.
Yet, i think there could be more to be assigned to hotkeys (since i have a hell bunch of buttons in my unused and dusty psx gamepad), like one scene per hotkey, toggle a source (to show or hide images or webcam), stop all activity at once, mute all at once... or many other you might come up with. Hotkeys for everybody!! hehe
OBS is the best application i know of. I just want it to get better little by little :)
