Hello, as the title suggests I am receiving high frame rate hits system wide, most notable in CS:GO but can also be noticed in windows itself. I have never ran into this issue until about a week ago. My PC specs are as follows: i7-7700k clocked at 4.2Ghz, 16gb DDR4 Ram clocked at 2400Mhz, A single EVGA SC GTX 1070 graphics card at 8GB. And I am running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (Build 15063)
I normally get over 300 fps in CSGO, but recently as soon as I open OBS Studio it'll drop to 60 fps. Ordinarily this may not seem like a huge issue, but as any competitive fps player knows, fps makes the difference in an fps environment. This effect is amplified by having a 144Hz ASUS monitor.
