I've been using OBS on my laptop for about 2 years to do some 1280x720 recording, and I had no trouble with it until I updated to Windows 10. Now everything I record is very choppy, with the amount of lagged frames ranging from 6%-10%, assuming I'm recording at 720p.
Here's my log file from a session of "This War of Mine," first in 1080p, then 720p. (using OBS Studio)

And here are my computer specs:
Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @2.40 GHz
12 GB RAM
NVIDIA Geforce 740M
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 (not set to be used by OBS)
What's odd is that I used to be able to record games as taxing as "Titanfall" with no issues at 720p, and now I can't even record a little game like "This War of Mine" without major hitches. I've also tried games like "Rocket League" at even lower resolutions (480p, 240p, etc), but the lagged frames are just as bad. Any ideas?
I'm planning on getting a big strong desktop soon, so if there's a problem here besides my low specs, it'd be nice to figure it out now.
