Evolving live streaming platforms

First I want to say how amazing the OBS project is and has been. A lot of my users love it. If you are a developer of the OBS project, I figured I'd give a heads up on how my live streaming sites are evolving. As you know Flash is being phased out (and rightfully so) which leaves little alternative to the incredible abilities RTMP protocol. This summer we are adding WebRTC to our live streaming platform and in time hope to see it take over RTMP/Flash in the next two years. As a result we are making RTP/RTSP available on our ingest servers, which as you may know allow for WebRTC compatible VP8/VP9, Vorbis/OPUS codecs unlike RTMP.

I haven't kept up with what OBS has planned or is currently working on, but figured I'd toss my two cents in regards to "life after Flash" which we are quickly approaching. I'd love to see OBS build out support for WebRTC playback (VP8/VP9, Vorbis/Opus). Talk about a killer app.
