When I go to desktop audio and put audio monitoring to monitor only, it stops the echoing but I can't hear anything on the desk top. When I put Monitor off everything is echoing, desktop and my audio. Help would be very useful.

what's the delay on the echo?
Are you using the elgato to capture the same computer it's installed in or are you using it to capture a second computer or a game console?

The delay is a couple of seconds. And the elgato is connected to a console but when I want to use two monitors for my computer I put the second hdmi cable into it instead of plugging the elgato out of the monitor.
