Bug Report Errors 0x887a0005 and 0x887a0006 - Windows 8.1

Hi guys,

Whenever I try stream Minecraft FTB Unleashed as an entire monitor I am getting 0x887a0005 and 0x887a0006.
I have tried streaming just the windows but it doesn't show anything.
I'm running Windows 8.1, 16GB RAM, i7-4700
Would it matter if OBS and Minecraft are installed on different HDDs? They are still both using the same graphics (NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M 2GB).

Your video card or driver froze and was reset. Please check for possible hardware / driver issues. This error can also occur if you have enabled opencl in x264 custom settings.

Hi Jim,
It happens with FTB Unleashed and Minecraft Vanilla.
Shows just black screen on preview/stream of window and crashes on stream of whole screen.
I also get a message in Windows saying my inbuilt graphics has crashed and recovered but both my OBS and Minecraft/FTB are running off my Nvidia card.

Hm, I notice you're using monitor capture. I think that might be the culprit, monitor capture on windows 8+ is unstable with nvidia laptops right now due to optimus driver issues. I would probably recommend using a different capture type if you can. Though note with some graphical mods that hook minecraft, it may cause a conflict with game capture, so you might have to disable those.
