Hey guys,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum or my formatting is bad .. but I keep getting crashes with OBS which it says are my graphics card freezing ... but I am not buying it .. I'm hoping you guys can get something out of the logs because I'm only having issues with OBS and not really anything else ...

Unfortunately pastebin appears to be down right now so I can't read your log, but typically this means anything from insufficient video memory to things like overheating/instability. Usually this is when your device resets.

That would be weird though , Jim.

There are no overheating issues (I keep tabs on my temps. The card never goes over 60 degrees.)
There is 2 gigs of memory on the card. So there isn't really a lack of memory.
Recently I have had the card stress tested for 36 hours and nothing happened... however in 4 hours of streaming OBS crashed 3 times ...

Well yea, hm. Not entirely sure what's going on. This is a rare error to see, admittedly. You have a good system so it shouldn't be that. You do had what appear to be a lot of alt-tabs though, I wonder if that's contributing to it. Hm.

Hello Jim ,

I do not really do a lot of alt-tabs at all. I use a plugin for OBS which is called SC2SceneSwitcher. It switches scenes when im out of game , in game and alt tabbed. :)
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmes ... _id=241231 <-- link to SC2SceneSwitcher

Other then that I have deleted OBS yesterday and reinstalled. After 90 minutes of testing today stable so far. I think something may have gone wrong when I Formatted my C:\ a week ago with OBS being on D:\ .... somehow after that it started messing around.

After deleting and re-installing it seems to be fixed. I'll report back after further testing.

Also a quick edit here with an additional question in the log it says I have 4GB of physical memory, I assume that is RAM. But I have 8GB , does OBS not see anything above 4?

If you're constantly switching to and from scenes which hook the game, it would be a good idea to make the game capture a global source so that you don't constantly hook the game over and over, which can cause problems.

I've been getting this same error. Any Luck on a solution?

texture->Map failed: 0x887a0005 0x887a0007

same problem - https://gyazo.com/344de3d70c622ea036233230acb567d9

Weird, and im not alt tabbing at all or changing out, or I do sometimes, and then It does crash a little, but it is game capture... so it's pretty annoying, only got this problem at "Counter-Strike:Source" so far cause it's the only fps game i've recorded recently CS:S - aka half life 2.
